Chicago Tribune Article On Minority Business Showcases OnShore Technology Group

The article, written by Tribune writer Ann Meyer, highlighted the fact that many minority companies shy away from presenting their minority status as a first point of entry due to the negative stigma associated with minority contracting among majority businesses. The article explored the fact that government agencies don't look at the minority status of prime contractors but require them to designate a certain percentage of work for minority subcontractors.

To this end, the company discussed its marketing strategy and how it promotes service and quality above its minority/woman status. "If companies don't need what we offer, it doesn't matter if I am a minority or a woman", commented Ms. King-Bailey for the article.
